Preschool Mandarin/Spanish Immersion Summer Camp
Like our full-time preschool, our summer camp employs a full immersion approach to learning, allowing for language acquisition and exposure to academic and culture.
Through fun and play-based learning, the student-centered curriculum is designed to build school readiness skills while fostering curiosity, creativity and confidence. Teachers use music, movement, arts and crafts to engage learning, character development and social skills.
Who Is It For? Children who are interested in learning Mandarin/Spanish language skills through fun, immersion-based activities. No prior Mandarin/Spanish skills are needed.
Age? 15 months - 5 years old
Where? 1660 Checker Rd, Long Grove, IL (Hope Lutheran Church)
When? The camp will be held in 2 monthly sessions and one weekly session between June 8 – August 7.
Session 1: June 8—July 2 (NO class on July 3)
Session 2: July 6 — July 31
Session 3: August 3-August 7 (one week)
Camp Fee
Registration Fee: $25 (25-26 or 26-27 school year preschool students waived)

Little Explorers
Campers will be engaged in a playful, hands-on course designed to spark curiosity and a love of learning in young children. Through stories, songs, art, movement, nature play, and simple experiments, campers explore their world in fun and meaningful ways. We supports early development in language, social skills, problem-solving, and creativity while encouraging independence and confidence. Each session invites children to ask questions, discover new ideas, and learn through joyful exploration in a safe and nurturing environment.
Art & Imagination
Campers will be encouraged to express themselves through art and imaginative play. Using a variety of materials such as paint, clay, collage, music, and movement, children explore colors, shapes, textures, and ideas in open-ended ways. The session nurtures creativity, fine motor skills, confidence, and self-expression while allowing each child’s imagination to shine in a joyful, supportive environment.

Space Explorers
Space & Explorers session will introduce young learners to the wonders of outer space through play-based exploration. Campers will learn about the sun, moon, stars, and planets using stories, songs, art projects, movement activities, and hands-on discovery. Through imaginative play and simple science experiences, campers build early thinking skills, language development, and creativity while exploring big ideas about space in a fun, safe, and nurturing environment.
Animal Adventures
Animal Adventures session will invite campers to explore the animal world through play-based learning. Campers will discover farm animals, jungle creatures, ocean life, and pets through stories, songs, movement, art, and hands-on activities. The course supports early language development, curiosity, empathy, and social skills while encouraging campers to learn about animals and their habitats in a joyful, nurturing environment.

Superhero Camp
Superhero Camp helps campers to discover their own special powers through play and imagination. Using superhero stories, creative crafts, movement games, and teamwork activities, children build confidence, kindness, problem-solving skills, and cooperation. With a focus on positive values like helping others, sharing, and bravery, Superhero Camp encourages campers to be everyday heroes in a safe, fun, and supportive environment.
